Deleting your account permanently removes your CoastMath sign-in and everything saved under it: every plan, including archived ones, their accounts, balances and settings. You can delete from the web planner’s session menu or from Settings in the iPhone app, and you confirm your identity with a fresh sign-in first.
To remove a single plan instead, archive it and use Delete permanently in the sidebar’s archived list; see Free and Premium.
- Cancel an App Store subscription yourself; deletion can’t. See Subscriptions below.
- Keep what you need. On Premium, the Exports tab downloads CSV and JSON and opens a printable report. These are projection results, not a backup: they can’t be imported to rebuild a plan. For a copy of your plans themselves, email support from the support page; a portable JSON copy is sent to your account’s email address within 30 days. See Exports and printing.
- Open the session menu in the planner’s header and choose Delete account.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field.
- If you sign in with Apple or Google, choose Permanently delete account and sign in again in the window that opens. An Apple account asks for Apple once more so CoastMath can revoke its access.
- If you sign in only by email link, choose Email a deletion link and open the link to finish. Opening it asks you to confirm deletion again.
If a step fails, for example your connection drops, the account isn’t deleted until the process finishes. Deletion in progress is remembered; retry from the same browser, or sign in again with an email link to resume it. While deletion is pending, you can’t open your plans.
- Removed: your CoastMath sign-in identity, your account, all plans and everything in them, and your subscription status. For an Apple sign-in, CoastMath’s access to your Apple ID is revoked.
- Not removed: your Apple, Google or email account itself; files you downloaded; copies in backups until they expire or are replaced; support correspondence and records kept for security or legal reasons. The privacy policy describes retention.
- App Store: deleting your account doesn’t cancel it. Cancel it in iOS Settings, under your Apple Account’s Subscriptions, or Apple keeps billing you. The web deletion screen reminds you of this.
- Web: deleting your account cancels it immediately, with no further charges. If the cancellation can’t be confirmed, the account isn’t deleted and you’re asked to try again.
Refunds follow the terms; see Free and Premium.
