Every planning and analysis feature in CoastMath is free. Free limits how many plans you keep and how long you can edit them: one active plan, editable for 7 days after you create it. Premium keeps every plan editable, allows more plans, and adds duplicating plans, restoring archived plans and report downloads.

Every account starts on Free. There’s no trial.

The on-screen annual report is available on both tiers. Downloads are results, not a backup of your plan. Prices are in US dollars; checkout shows any tax.

A plan on Free can be edited for 7 days (7 × 24 hours) from the moment it was created, however old your account is. A countdown under the plan name shows the time left, such as “6 days left to edit”. At 48 and 24 hours before the end, a notice lists the plan sections you haven’t opened yet in this browser, so you can finish them.

If the window ends before any notice was shown to you, for example because you didn’t open the plan, the next time you open it you get a single 24-hour grace period. It’s never given twice.

After that the plan is read-only: “Read-only. The 7-day editing window has ended.” It still projects with current tax figures and today’s date, and every analysis still runs. Changes are refused and your draft stays open; see When a change doesn’t save or results look stale.

On Free, New plan first offers Archive and start over. Archiving hides the current plan and deletes nothing; the new plan gets its own 7-day window. Imports work the same way.

Archived plans appear under Archived plans in the sidebar. On Free you see their names and dates, and can delete one with Delete permanently. Premium can open one (read-only until restored) or restore it to an active, editable plan. Archived plans are kept until you delete them or your account.

  1. Sign in with Apple, Google or email. If you choose to upgrade from a temporary session, CoastMath asks you to sign in first and then continues to checkout.
  2. Open the session menu and choose Upgrade yearly or Upgrade monthly. Each button shows its price. The same choices appear whenever you reach a Premium feature.
  3. Pay on the Stripe checkout page. When you return, the planner shows “Confirming your subscription…” until your account reads Premium, usually within seconds.

In the iPhone app, Premium is bought through Apple and billed to your Apple account. The app’s paywall has Restore purchases for a subscription bought on another device. Either way, Premium belongs to your CoastMath account, so it applies on the web and on iPhone once you sign in with the same method.

An App Store subscription is managed only in Apple’s subscription settings on your iPhone; the web Billing section says “Managed in the App Store on your iPhone.”

  • Cancel on the web with Manage billing in the session menu’s Billing section. It opens Stripe’s billing page, where you can also change your card.
  • Cancel on iPhone in iOS Settings, under your Apple Account’s Subscriptions.
  • Canceling stops the next renewal. Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
  • A failed payment on the web doesn’t end Premium while Stripe retries it. On iPhone, Premium continues through Apple’s billing grace period when one applies.
  • When Premium ends, nothing is deleted. Every plan follows the Free edit window again, counted from its creation, so most plans become read-only at once.
  • Refunds. The terms allow a full refund of a web subscription requested within 14 days of its first charge; renewals aren’t refunded. App Store refunds are requested from Apple.

Deleting your account cancels a web subscription immediately but doesn’t cancel an App Store subscription. See Delete your account and data.
